How to configure a folder with write permissions using Microsoft FrontPage

1. Open the live Internet copy of the web using FrontPage
    
2. Right-click on the desired folder and choose PROPERTIES from the pop-up menu
    
3. The following options should be UNCHECKED:
   Allow programs to be run
   Allow scripts to be run
    
4. The following option should be CHECKED:
   Allow anonymous upload to this directory
    
5. Depending upon your application, the following options may need to be checked as well:
   Allow files to be browsed
   Allow uploaded files to overwrite existing filenames

Scripts/ASP pages should not be placed in folders marked with write permissions.
