Installing StoreFront 5.0

The easiest way to set up StoreFront for your site is to use the StoreFront Import Wizard. This tool will import all the StoreFront files that are necessary for a live StoreFront site or an existing StoreFront web. Follow the instructions below to learn how to use the Import Wizard.

1. Open FrontPage. Click File, then Open Web. Enter the address of your web in the Folder Name field.
   

   

    

2. After opening you web in FrontPage, click the Web Creation Wizard icon located on the StoreFront toolbar.
    

3. Select Import StoreFront Files into an existing web.
   

   

   
   NOTE: If you are using StoreFront AE or StoreFront XE, you will be asked whether you wish to import Access or SQL files. If you are using an Access database in this web, choose MS Access. If you plan to use a SQL database in this web, choose MS SQL.
    

4. Once the Import Wizard has finished, you will need to create a database connection for your web site. To do this, you need to contact Acme and request a System DSN.
    

5. After requesting a System DSN, you are are ready to create the database connection for your Web site.
