How can my web visitors view documents on the site if
they don't have Microsoft Office?
It only takes one user in your team with Office XP to make a
difference.
If the webmaster for your SharePoint Team Web Site is
using Office XP/FrontPage 2002 they have the option of
creating 'browser only' versions of your Team's important
Microsoft Office documents. Office XP (and Office
2000) include features that make it super easy to save any
Office document in .HTML format that can be viewed by
*almost* anyone, anywhere - even Netscape, Macintosh users
or web visitors with really old PC's and IE 4.01+ web
browser software. (Gasp!) Yes, it's true!
