Creating A Frameset

Welcome to the interior of a frameset! We talked enough in the introductory page...let's dive right in with some step-by-step procedures.

1. From FrontPage Editor choose Frame -> New Frames Page. Choose the first entry in the list, Banner and Contents. You'll see a window like:
   
   
   
2. In the top frame click the button titled Set Initial Page and enter www.acmeinfo.com/top_frame.htm for the URL.
3. In the left frame click the button titled Set Initial Page and enter www.acmeinfo.com/left_frame.htm for the URL.
4. In the lower right frame click on New Page.
   
   You probably noticed that clicking on New Page gave you a blank screen - literally, a new page. When you save this frameset you'll be prompted for new filenames.   Go ahead and enter a few lines of text and perhaps a graphic or two on your new page.
   
   Also change some text in each of the other two frames - it won't matter if you simply delete a letter and replace it with the same - the change will force FrontPage to save it onto your own website from it's original location within ours.
   
5. Chose File -> Save All and respond to any Save Filename prompts that result.
