EMAIL HOST ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT
blackdot.gif (800 bytes)

The email username and password assigned with your new hosting account allow you to login to your Email Host Administrator account

While this account functions like a normal email address and allows you to send and receive mail, its primary function is to allow you to login to the WebMail Server and configure your own custom email settings for your domain.

This gives you almost total control over all email for your domain and eliminates the need to contact technical support whenever you wish to make changes such as:

  • Adding new email addresses or aliases
  • Adding, removing, and editing User Accounts (mailboxes)
  • Changing email passwords
  • Configuring email forwarding
  • and many other options.

These advanced options are only available in your Email Host Administrator account, and are not accessible by other email users you may create in your domain.  However, as Email Host Administrator for your domain you may grant Host Administrator privileges to trusted users in your domain if you choose.

To access these features login to your Email Host Administrator account via the WebMail Server at http://imail.acmeinfo.com:8383
